Vodka, Cranberry Juice, and Lots of Lime Please

Jewel at the Aria

Whether you were at home passing out candy, attending your neighbors spooky party or in bed watching Hocus Pocus, I hope your holiday was as enjoyable as mine was. This year I went to Jewel at the Aria and it was fun fun fun. Maybe had one too many cranberry juice vodkas, but hey…I was making up for not having candy this year.

So about last night…

The amount of half naked people at the club was cray cray. I decided to keep my clothes on and go as Rosie the Riveter (I am always down to save money and use what I have in my closet).

*Club Tip: Headliners always come on really late and I would suggest finding a promoter that can get you a table. Unless you’re a really dedicated fan, standing for five hours in heels does not sound like a good time to me.

Jewel held a $10,000 cash prize for a costume contest. 3rd place won $1,000 2nd place won $3,000 and 1st place won a whopping $6,000 all for having the “best” costume. I’m sorry, but she was wearing a thong. Like, what? How is that best costume material? Anyways, good for her… I’m not salty or anything. I did have a great time dancing and enjoying this new era of being too old to Trick-or-Treat. Today it’s all about clubbing, vodka and heels for me.

I hope your night was filled with no tricks and lots of treats.

funky-pink-heart, Olive B.
