If you’re not into hearing the truth or little details of my life (big details to me actually), then this post might not be for you.
True, I love Vegas and want to write about things to do here ALWAYS because this city is awesome and there is so much more to life than the LV Strip. However, lately I have been in a little funk (sorry not sorry) and really just spending time at home… alone!
Sometimes I just want to write from my kitchen table and vent.
I’ve been in this creative funk for the past couple of months and I really couldn’t figure out why. I was slacking big time on The Olive Brunette.
To make this long story longer, I got dumped OVER THE PHONE by someone I was dating. It was expected. He really wasn’t for me and as much as I wanted it to work out, it just wasn’t going to happen. We fought all the time and rarely saw eye to eye.
The minute I got off the phone with him I LITERALLY took a sigh of relief and realized that I have been acting like a crazy person. Not to him or in this relationship, but to myself. I have worked very hard on being a powerful and confident woman and throughout the relationship, I never felt powerful OR confident. That was red flag numero uno.
I’m not going to dwell on what happened or make this a sob story, but I do want to say that NO ONE should ever feel unworthy in a relationship. Does not matter if you have been dating someone for one month or one year… If you don’t feel motivated to do what you love everyday and feel that you are missing that energy between you and your partner, RUN!
Before I move on, I want to apologize to anyone I have neglected these past couple of months. From the missed phone calls to cancellations…I’m sorry and it really isn’t me.
After reading this article, I realized that I have not been using the manifestation tools that everyone talks about. The Soul Mate Wish List. This definitely requires a leap of faith, but I am ready to clarify exactly what it is I desire and I KNOW that after this…the universe will answer my call.
The qualities important to me in a partner:
See you soon mystery man!
