Soul Mate Wish List-Olive Brunette

I’m about to get really REAL really quickly.

If you’re not into hearing the truth or little details of my life (big details to me actually), then this post might not be for you.

True, I love Vegas and want to write about things to do here ALWAYS because this city is awesome and there is so much more to life than the LV Strip. However, lately I have been in a little funk (sorry not sorry) and really just spending time at home… alone!

Sometimes I just want to write from my kitchen table and vent.

I’ve been in this creative funk for the past couple of months and I really couldn’t figure out why. I was slacking big time on The Olive Brunette.

I never wanted to hang out with friends, lost motivation for the gym, blah blah blah.

To make this long story longer,  I got dumped OVER THE PHONE by someone I was dating. It was expected. He really wasn’t for me and as much as I wanted it to work out, it just wasn’t going to happen. We fought all the time and rarely saw eye to eye.

The minute I got off the phone with him I LITERALLY took a sigh of relief and realized that I have been acting like a crazy person. Not to him or in this relationship, but to myself. I have worked very hard on being a powerful and confident woman and throughout the relationship, I never felt powerful OR confident. That was red flag numero uno.

This is by no means me putting the blame on him…. I should’ve realized that we are simply not compatible in the very beginning.

I’m not going to dwell on what happened or make this a sob story, but I do want to say that NO ONE should ever feel unworthy in a relationship. Does not matter if you have been dating someone for one month or one year… If you don’t feel motivated to do what you love everyday and feel that you are missing that energy between you and your partner, RUN!

Relationships should be fun! Find someone who will laugh with you when you’re being goofy, smiles at you for no reason, hugs you when you’re feeling down, and helps you see the world in a different way.

Before I move on, I want to apologize to anyone I have neglected these past couple of months. From the missed phone calls to cancellations…I’m sorry and it really isn’t me.

Its a new page and I am ready to find my soulmate.

After reading this article, I realized that I have not been using the manifestation tools that everyone talks about. The Soul Mate Wish List.  This definitely requires a leap of faith, but I am ready to clarify exactly what it is I desire and I KNOW that after this…the universe will answer my call.

This is great! Glad to hear you’re motivted and have a good checklist! Maybe the next guy should go through a panel interview with your sister and her boyfriend for extra precaution.

I love this. It sucks going through a break-up but, like you said, you knew it wasn’t working. I just love your attitude towards the whole thing. Recognizing that it wasn’t right and that you weren’ t yourself is no easy feet. Even after the fact. I think it’s really great that you’re putting what you want out into the universe and I hope all the best for you! Thanks for sharing something that might not have been easy and making it positive too.
