Martini, Please!

First of all, how cute is the name of this restaurant?

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

And their logo…even cuter. Yeah, I’m the person that eats somewhere because they have a cute name and logo. Don’t judge.

You can find The Perch at The Downtown Container Park on 7th and Freemont which is an “open-air shopping center filled with boutique retail shops, entertainment and restaurants.” This place has a super cool vibe and is fit for all ages. I come here a lot with friends and family, but never get the chance to try some of the restaurants here. The Perch always stood out to me because the sign is pink (I’m a child) and it has a cutesy, brunchy vibe to it which I LOVE. This place has floor to ceiling windows, as well as an outdoor patio so you get awesome views of the container park wherever you sit.

The Perch

The cutesy, brunchy vibe I talk about makes me want to dress up in a jean jacket, wedges and summer dress… drink Mimosas or Bellinis, and talk about random sh** with all of my girlfriends. I decided to test this place out and see if my taste buds were happy with the menu before I go crazy planning a ladies lunch and reserve half of the patio. Sounded right, you know?Lettuce Wraps

Let me just say…I loved it! I won’t go on and on talking about the items I ordered and how great they were, but I will say that it was amazing and you definitely need to give this place a try. Yes I will be planning a ladies lunch here, but honestly this place is for everyone. The main menu features shareables (what I ordered), flatbreads, salads and entrees. If you’re interested in having Brunch, come on a Saturday or Sunday anytime between 9am and 3pm for Monkey Bread and all you can drink mimosas. If you’re looking for something simple and just want a bite to eat, come between 3pm and 6pm Monday through Friday for their Happy Hour Menu which features $2 off signature cocktails and $5 Drafts and House Wine. Don’t worry about the parking or the fact that this place is Downtown…or too far. Blah Blah. Such silly excuses. There is a Container Park Lot across the street for parking and if you get lost inside the container park (not going to happen), just ask someone to point you in the right direction. Everyone is very friendly.
