Las Vegas-Labor Day Weekend

Getting ready for the big weekend in Las Vegas, but not sure what to do? I always think I have a grandiose plan in my head and then, come Friday, I am sitting on my couch watching Netflix. I’m not saying I’m complaining though….

I think this weekend will be different and I have some big plans, not just for me but for you too. And make sure not to blink because this weekend is going to go by really fast!

Friday night: If you’re feeling adventurous, go downtown and enjoy First Friday. This happens the first Friday of every month and features more than 100 artists from around the valley. There will be food, drinks, and lots of entertainment. If you like to “people watch,” this is the place to be.

Saturday: Ever heard of Day-ging? (Raging during the day) At least that is what I like to call it. Drink lots of water and wear sunscreen because it’s HOT!! Depending on what DJ you like, this weekend has a big list of lineups that I think everyone will be happy with. & if you think you still have the energy after a day of drinking and swimming, take a quick nap because the nightclubs have some great lineups.

Kygo 11am Marquee Dayclub at Cosmopolitan (He’s my favorite…just sayin)
DJ Five 11am Tao Beach at the Venetian
Laidback Luke 11am Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay
Afrojack 11am Wet Republic at MGM Grand
Alesso 12pm Encore Beach Club
Armin Van Buuren-Omnia at Caesars Palace
Major Lazer-Surrender at Encore
Zedd-XS at Encore
Jamie Fox-Jewel at Aria
Metro Boomin & Special Guest-Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay

Sunday: Okay, so you’ve slept in…and although you might not feel up to another day club, you will probably want to continue drinking. Right? When I am with my friends we always look for restaurants with Happy Hour because who wants pay full price for food and drinks??? Check out Toms Urban at NYNY. They have $4 Drafts, Margaritas and Backyard Lemonade. But, if your hotel is more towards the center of the strip, I would go to the Brooklyn Bowl at the Linq. Not only will you be out of the heat, but you can get half off drinks and appetizers. If you’re feeling really adventurous and want to take a break from the strip, head on over to Park on Freemont to spend less than $20 on food and drinks. Enjoy!

Monday: Let’s be honest…Drink, Eat, Sleep and Repeat
