Start walking with your eyes up in the casinos because you will not want to miss the intricate ceilings of the Bellagio Hotel.
When the Bellagio Hotel opened in 1998, Steve Wynn hired Dale Chihuly to create this beautiful art blossom display for the lobby of his hotel. Formally known as Fiori Di Como is a 40,000-pound structure that represents Italian fields in the spring. The flowers are individually hand blown and strategically placed which truly makes this a work of art. I have walked through this hotel many times now and I still find something new about this sculpture. You will find people sitting or laying on the floor of the Bellagio to take it all in.
“Glass itself is so much like water. If you let it go on its own, it almost ends up looking like something that came from the sea.” -Dale Chihuly
