The other day was my birthday and I asked for one thing…Brunch at Sadelle’s.
Sounds kind of crazy, but I heard nothing but great things and remember hearing about how popular this place is in New York.
Sadelle’s has been featured on Harper’s Bazaar, the New York Time’s, Eater NY, the Wall Street Journal, and InStyle.com. Not to mention they are all over people’s instagram accounts with famous bagels and sticky buns. My mouth is salivating just thinking about those bagels again.
I made sure to make a reservation because every time I check out the line for this place it is a mile long and takes about 45 minutes just to get to the front. Craziness. Since we made a reservation, we were seated right away and got a perfect booth that overlooked the restaurant as well as the new conservatory display for the Chinese New Year. Can I just say, pigs everywhere!
I kept seeing people order this three tiered serving platter of fish and I HAD to have it! The little jewish girl in me got so excited because I was about to eat one of my favorite meals; Lox & Bagels.
The bagels come on a wooden peg and there are plenty to feed a small army. All fish selected platters are served with bagels, cucumbers, tomatoes, and capers. The bagel selection is amazing and come with all the popular flavors – plain, everything, sesame, poppy seed, salt & pepper, pumpernickel and cinnamon raison.
I started with the salt & pepper bagel and slowly made my way to a pumpernickel really trying to savor every moment because, again, this is all I wanted for my birthday.
Prepare to see many people snapping photos of the food and atmosphere around. Everything is very instagram-able with their light pink, green and blue aesthetic.
Since it was my birthday I had to order a cocktail, but I had such a hard time deciding what to order. Everything sounded so good. I went with their blood orange which came in a beautiful glass. It was a mix of Aperol (my favorite), fresh blood orange juice, and prosecco. Highly recommend.
Side note: I’ve recently learned that you can buy Aperol online for a little summer spritz. If you have no idea what I am talking about you can check it out here. I am 100% buying a few bottles to make myself an Aperol spritz for the summer here in Vegas.
If Aperol is not your thing, they have plenty of drink items.
The good news about Sadelle’s is that they open at 6 a.m. so if you’re worried about the lines being long, it might be a good idea to head here early. Also note that their sticky buns sell out fast.
The good news is that the parking garage is very close to the entrance of the restaurant. Forget about walking through an entire casino. Unless you’re visiting and into that… up to you.
From the hotel lobby you will want to make the lobby on your left hand side and face the conservatory. Sadelle’s is located on the right hand pathways with a big sign that says, Sadelle’s. You will not miss it. 🙂
I have to mention that after you’re done eating, visit the lobby for the beautiful Chihuly glass exhibit located on the ceiling of the hotel.
Your first time visiting
I highly recommend Sadelle’s if this is your first time visiting Las Vegas. Their food has been featured in many well-known publications for a reason and their items do not disappoint. They say, if you come to Sadelle’s you build a tower. However, if building your own bagel does not sound appealing to you, their sandwiches and salads are among the popular items listed.
When requested, a pastry cart can be brought to your table with items such as bear claws, babka, and raspberry rugelach. Yummy! Your Jewish bubbe (Yiddish word for grandmother) will be very impressed with this selection.
Is your mouth watering yet?
As always, please tag me in your posts because I would love to see what you decided to order & feel free to share this post with all of your friends and family who decide to visit Las Vegas. Brunching here can be a blast if you know the right spots.
Let me know in the comments if you have you been? What did you think of Sadelle’s Tower?
